CIP and the Open GIS Consortium (OGC)
The Open GIS Consortium published the Catalog Interface Implementation
Specification 1.0 in August 1999. The WWW Profile of the OGC Catalog Interface
Implementation Specification is based primarily on the GEO Profile and the
CIP 2.4 specification but with some differences.
