GRID Task Team
The purpose of the Grid Task Team is to investigate the applicability of Grid technologies to CEOS needs, to share experience gained from the
effective use of these technologies and make recommendations for their application.
Task Team Focus:
The Grid task team is focused on the following objectives:

Grid core technology exploration where team members learn about the Grid technology and learn
how to apply the technology to their applications

Implementation of application projects where the team members will lead their specific
application projects with their partners.

Analysis of the benefits of the Grid technology
-
Application of the Grid technologies to support a global science program that has the support
of multiple CEOS agencies.
